Soul Support for Spiralic Times Tarot Spread

The Spiral is another way to term the unknown. It is the Great Unknown, the great mystery. Birth, death, the rise and fall of the seasons, the phases of the Moon, the pull of the tides, the rush of your blood, the way that plants reach toward the sun all occur in a Spiral. It is the literal rhythm of the Universe itself.

The brain loves to have us believe that we are linear beings, that this should be a linear existence, but nothing could be further from the truth.

We are inherently Spiral beings, made to live in times of great unknown, and uncertainty. There is space for our grief in that Spiral. There is space for our rage, our fear, and everything that comes with being a human being on the planet at this time in history. I believe that when we remember that we are of the Spiral, we can make space for all that the heart is calling us to tend to at this time. What is your heart whispering to you? What might it be calling us to pay attention to?

How can we be so gentle with ourselves and our nervous systems at this time, when so much of our world feels so unfamiliar, terrifying, and chaotic?

In these moments, it can be immensely supportive to come home to our Tarot decks, to pour our heart and soul out to them, to share our fears aloud, and call in greater support and resourcing. May this spread offer an inroad to that sacred homecoming.
