All Cards Bring Medicine
One of the core principals of Soul Tarot is that all Tarot cards, no matter how spiky or bitter, bring some kind of medicine for our continued growth and evolution.
Nettle, Rose, Linden, Datura, and Heather. All medicine, all utterly and totally different forms of it. Some are sweet, some sting, some make us fly, and some help us die. There is a holy purpose and function, a place and space for every single herb, weed and flower on this earthly plane. The same is true with each Tarot card. In Soul Tarot, we endeavor to consider every card in the Tarot as medicine, all bringing something that we need – even if we don’t know it, even if we don't particularly like it.
Indeed, we are utterly permissioned to hate the experience of a particular card, and simultaneously still get curious about the medicine it might be bringing to our door.
There really are no good or bad cards in the Tarot; they all bring beautiful gifts.
If certain cards trigger us, or invite us into fear, we can lean into that as an opportunity to explore our relationship with that particular archetype.
Through our journey of working with these 78 cards, we open ourselves to 78 forms of medicine, all here to nourish our soul in some way.
