Hello, Wild Souls, two very quick announcements before we get to our episode today. One, I believe I had mentioned at the end of last week's episode that we would have an interview with a guest today. Unfortunately, there has been another snafu with our audio so we're pausing on guests on the podcast for right now, but hopefully we will be able to 1) repeat/ re-record those interviews with Ace of Alice Sparkly Cat and with Asia Suhler as soon as humanly possible, hopefully in the next few months, and then hopefully we can get our other guests on. But again, we're gonna pause on guests for right now just until all this technical bullshit is sorted out. But yeah, apologies for that.
And second of all, I am preparing a new course set to come out around Samhain about how to work with the practice of Tarot Anchoring during what I am calling impossible times or journeys through Hell, and I want to know if you have questions for me about this. Any questions submitted to me will be answered within the context of that course for like a little mini Q&A database for anybody who purchases this course.
So some examples might be like, if you've gone through a very difficult time, or what you might call a journey through Hell, and you want to know Tarot Anchors for that particular journey. If you're, there's been times where you've bumped up against those seasons and have had difficulty applying your practices to them. Times when you've pulled a card around a challenging situation and maybe felt a little baffled, or confused, or gaslit even, by it—I really would love to hear from you. I know it's a big thing to ask questions about that, but if you've got them and you feel safe enough to send them to me, all the questions will be anonymous inside of the class portal. But yeah, if you've got them, we have a link to where you can send those questions in the show notes for today's episode. So thank you so much for considering this. There'll be more information about that class soon. Thanks for being here and onto today's episode.

Welcome to Tarot for the Wild Soul, a podcast that explores the Tarot through an inclusive, soul-centered, trauma-informed perspective for growth, healing, and evolution. I'm your host, Lindsay Mack.
Hello, Loves, and welcome back to Tarot for the Wild Soul podcast with Lindsay Mack. I am Lindsay Mack (Lindsay laughs) and I'm just so grateful to be gathered with you in this space, as always. So I'm wishing everyone the happiest of equinoxes. I'm wishing a Happy Fall Equinox to my people here in the northern hemisphere and an amazing Spring Equinox to all of you off in the southern hemisphere.
The Equinox is such an extraordinary time and such a potent, you know—we talk about in my offering The Threshold that comes out at the end of the calendar year to sort of provide a download for the next year ahead, that we're constantly crossing through energetic thresholds and all of them we’ll experience them really differently. All of us have really different kinds of measurable and more ephemeral, internal and external thresholds that really are symbolic to us. And Equinoxes are one of one of the strongest sort of collective thresholds that we all move through, we'll all have a different relationship with, that represent just such, I think, unique and powerful things to all of us.
So let's sort of break down where we're at and what this Equinox really represents, what it really kind of is inviting us into. So first of all, just sort of as a rule and astronomically, when we experience an Equinox, there's roughly twelve hours of daylight, twelve hours of night times, so the days are “even,” when the sun is directly overhead at noon. That is also where we have the experience of an Equinox.
[0:04:44]
It's the only time of the year when the solar point is directly on the equator. So we have something energetically that arises as a result of being in relationship like that with the sun, which is that Equinoxes present us with a very, very important, 1) opportunity to review and reflect on what's here. Not that the six planets in retrograde were doing any of that work before, and 2) to rebalance in an area that needs a little attention. Equinoxes can bring up a lot. They bring up a lot.
The two Tarot cards that correspond to the two Equinoxes of the year are The Emperor and Justice. We move into Aries season in the northern hemisphere on our Spring Equinox. We move into Cardinal Air, Justice season, welcome to it, the minute we move into our Fall Equinox.
So what does that mean? Let's break down these two cards. So if we're talking about the other Equinox of the year and moving into Aries season, The Emperor is a strong and powerful invitation that can be extremely confronting. It essentially has to do with us working with the themes of, “I have a right to be here. It's okay for me to take up space. I have something to offer to this world that is unique and crucial,” which is true.
And typically, there's kind of a subset invitation to The Emperor that says, “Can you move forward and offer that?” So in a way, we are much like the plants that bloom here in the northern hemisphere, in the spirit of The Emperor. There's just a very, very strong coming forward.
[0:06:53]
Now with the Equinox we're currently going into, taking us into the Air spiral of the year—we go through four. This is Air because we're moving into Cardinal Air in Libra season. And this Air Cycle comprises of Libra season, Scorpio season, and Sagittarius season. Then we move into our Earth spiral starting on the first day of Capricorn, on the Solstice.
So what it means to work with Justice: Justice is, in some ways, very exacting, and pretty merciless. Like I feel in its pursuit, and its dogged pursuit to help us be free. Justice calls upon us to look at what is. And that's really, really hard. Because when we're really looking at what's here: it's human nature to blame ourselves for what's here, to blame other people for what's here too. And sometimes that's valid, by the way, to acknowledge or to get swept up, in like, “What's here isn't fair,” or “I don't want what's here.” You know, whatever it might be, or “I do want what's here, whatever it is.”
Justice honors those experiences, but still brings us back to the center point: what is here. We must face what's here, acknowledge what's here. Not what we're working on, not what we hoped but like what is present, because Justice claims, the only way that we can actively be participants in the evolution of our lives toward way more ease, way more equity, way more clarity—for all, not just ourselves—is if we are with what's here. If something is happening that's unjust, and we're getting deeply caught up into, you know, that it's not fair, that we, you know, whatever it is—we have to actually be with what's going on in order to say, “This is what's going on, here's where we need to be because of the information that we have about how we got here and what's going on. Now we know the action steps to change it, right?”
So there's a lot to take in about that. Because to see what's here is often very intense, and very overwhelming. There can be a lot of truths that get faced in Justice that have to be faced in order to move into where we're going. Now think about the energy of this particular Equinox happening and unfolding in Justice season.
[0:09:43]
If we're working with the framework of the Northern Hemisphere, we are moving into the Witch Season of the year—we are moving into the time when the Veil is very, very thin, when everything is wildly transforming. We're moving from bloom to rest, to death, to release. There's a lot of slowing down. There's a very different energy that starts to move forward in this season. And Justice is basically saying, “Hey, I want to assist you, in a large way, in clearing what's not serving.” The only way you can really know that, is if you're here with it. Right here.
For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, how can you bloom in alignment, in a way that's supportive, in a way, like, how can you move into the spring of your year without really knowing where to focus your energy, what is no longer calling to you, what you do want to talk about? Really, it's a time of incredible clarity for the purpose of fuller maturity and growth.
And for those of you who signed up for Spiralic Tarot, which was my channeled Tarot download for this Air Cycle ahead, I'm not going to go into it on this podcast, but I will share that the Anchor Card for this entire Air season is Eight of Pentacles. So this, the next three months, kind of starting today with this threshold of the Equinox—it's about slowly building, kind of embodying the energy of the spider building the web and knowing that this web is only serving to clarify the next web. There's a lot of energy right now around like, getting very, very clear on the complications of life, some of which we cannot avoid.
Obviously, life is complicated and complex—but ways in which we're making our lives more complicated without necessarily knowing it. There's a lot of support right now around if we're brave enough to actually acknowledge it, just opening our eyes a bit more to like, “Okay, what could we drop? What are we too exhausted to continue doing? What do we just not want to do and what could be possible on the other side when the space is there?”
[0:12:22]
But it's not kind of a coasting time. It's really kind of like, getting your ducks in order, figuring everything out, à la Eight of Pentacles. Because Eight of Pentacles is a transformation card, it's a card where we transform through experience and repetition. So that's really what the next kind of few months are going to be about and it's actually so incredibly perfect for our Anchor Card of the week, which is Ace of Wands, and the invitation of this.
Ace of Wands is just about one of the most complimentary energies that we could call upon for what is sort of being ushered in this new season of Fall for some of us, and Spring for others of us. Moving through the cycles of Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius season, respectively. Honoring and looking to like, welcoming in this new season and a totally new element—we've been in Water since the Summer Solstice, on and around June 21. So I'm ready (Lindsay laughs). Like as challenging as, Air energy can be sometimes for me, I'm ready to move into something a little bit less liminal.
So let's talk about Ace of Wands. This is the card we're working with this week and the energy of it, what it's calling us to consider, is around the theme of energetic restructuring. So we are all, some of us in different ways, being called into a time, a dedicated practice of restructuring how we apply and utilize our energy. This is very crucial work and we have the opportunity to go very, very far with the seeds we plant this week right now.
Any Tarot card that comes up, they just layer onto one another. So it's not like next week Ace of Wands goes away—we're going to continue to be working with it on and on and on, right? And it's connected to—part of what we're doing in the month of September, in general, in terms of our Monthly Medicine, and also with our Anchor Cards of the month: Three of Pentacles. And really all of it is about coming back to this sense of like where we belong, and being willing to know and believe that we can receive, we can restructure, we can breathe, we can take a little space, take a little time—more than what we've been doing.
[0:15:24]
In order to do that we kind of have to face why we may or may not have been piling or loading our plate full of things that maybe are just not serving—and that's a perpetual review, like we're always working on that in some way. So certain things to pay attention to this week: 1.) In the shift to Libra season, Cardinal Air, we're also working and we're also saying “good-bye” because we've been in a Water season or Water Cycle, since the beginning of Cancer season. We've been doing a lot of Cups work: deep feelings and trusting ourselves, loving ourselves, really opening to that.
We're moving now into working with the mind, beliefs, and like our nervous system and like how our thoughts and feelings flow together and how we tend to get caught in places where the mind will kind of take the wheel and say, “Absolutely not, you can't go this way because XYZ might happen,” or whatever. Like, where are we running on kind of an old program or an autopilot?
So the kind of first invitation of Ace of Wands is to just simply spend even two seconds—honestly (Lindsay laughs), you could do way more than two seconds—reflecting on one area that's been trying to get your attention as of late, that feels unsustainable to you. The thing that I am getting very clearly from my Guides, from Spirit, is that you don't need to know what you're going to do in the place of that thing. It's not about that. That will come in time. The important thing is to just hook that Ace of Wands energy onto Justice energy, and just simply acknowledge to yourself, “I don't really want to do this anymore.” “Okay, I really do not care to engage with this anymore. I don't really feel like this collaboration, this relationship, whatever, is really working,” or “What I'm doing, I love but how I'm doing it is unsustainable,” or “I’m finding myself getting so frustrated or so angry or so sad, or I'm in dread.”
So it could be that it's the relationship to the person, the job, the collaboration—not the thing itself. So that's step one, is just being truthful with ourselves. It's a brave step. It's a brave thing to do about like what's not working, can we acknowledge it? Right? That's number one.
[0:18:18]
Number two, turning toward the body. Turning toward the body and again, not getting caught up. Be wary of the mind and how it tends to come in and be like, “Dee-dee-dee-dee!” You can love the mind and be like, “Thanks, mind. Thanks, brain. We'll get to you in a second. You can hang out over here.” (Lindsay laughs) You know? Like, “You get to be in the room. But like, you're not going to drive the car.”
With turning to the body, we’re not getting caught up in the story of, “What if my body asks for something and I can't give it to my body? What if this? What if that?” What Ifs are typically all mind and they tend to just block the flow instantly (Lindsay snaps). Like, we can honor the questions, it's just not where we want to stop. Turning toward the body is one of the most important—I mean, I don't need to go on about it, very important—these bodies are our vessels, our home, they deserve our love, our attention.
When was the last time you turned inward? And just said, “Hi. How are you?” Can you take an inventory? Are you incredibly tired? Could that be a sign from your body to rest? If it is, how can you just—without story, without making a big deal about it—just rest? If you have a migraine? How can you just stop? If you're not feeling well? How can you like, just don't feel well? Take medicine, watch a TV show. Just be. Like how can we just be, right?
Let's break down Ace of Wands, right? The Wands suit is absolutely—you know, it's ruled by Fire—and it is absolutely about like, action and passion and creativity, totally. But, and you know how I am at this point (Lindsay laughs), like, in Soul Tarot, we get more granular with it. It's actually, literally about the pilot light of the body. It's about our adrenals, it's about our energetic capacity, and working within that.
[0:20:31]
All of us are different. And in this culture that prizes, that rewards, like burning out, stretching ourselves to the limit, hustling, like, pushing through muscling, you know, all the things, right? That rewards it, that praises it—it can feel like rest, is very often, it's got to be a reward for something rather than just a basic human right, which it is. It should not be a privilege, it just is a birthright (Lindsay laughs). Resting and like infusing that into that.
Sometimes I also think we can get very caught up in like, “the ritual of self care” when like, it can just be as simple as like, “My body wants this.” Just give your body that. That's the end, it doesn't need to be a story or a whole thing. I simplify it because the Aces and the energy of this time and the directness of Justice are really like, “See what happens and see how you feel when you turn to the body and you harness that Ace energy.” So with regard to the Wands, and what I was getting to—you know, my detours—the Wands are really about being with that energetic capacity in an honest way. Saying, “Okay, this is my pilot light, this is, this is not letting the fire go out.”
And with every single one of the Wands cards from Ace to Ten, we do work around, before every action, every decision; we check in about it. “Okay, I could do this big project, or I could do this part of the project right now.” Just one topic. One thing. Rather than a whole thing. I could do—like, this just happened to me this morning. I'm working on, and I’m sort of like revealing it, you know, whatever. But there's—I'm working right now on a set of offerings for like, fresh out of the gate, baby, Tarot beginners, like complete beginners. Setting up a couple of different like, bite-sized under $100 offerings. So that someone who stumbles upon my site and doesn't want to invest in something that's like $200+, that's like a big immersion, and just kind of wants to like know how to open a deck and start using it—that they can do that.
[0:23:12]
And I have a baby now, and I don't have childcare (Lindsay laughs). My partner and I both work and like it's a complete joy to be with my daughter and it's a whole kind of different rhythm with work that has been very consuming. And so for a long time, I've thought like, “Well of course this mini offering will have video because I have to do that.” Then this morning, I was like, my partner and I, who helps me with my work, we were talking about how (and who is the editor of this podcast: Hello, Chase! you're amazing.) We were talking about like “Okay, like I don’t know, if we film and then you got to edit it, and that's going to be a lot.” And this morning, I was like these offerings were originally birthed as ideas to be really, really solid, easy to read, like nice, juicy, detailed PDFs. Like books essentially, mini ebooks. And today I was like they're all going to be mini eBooks and there's going to be no video, right?
Now you may hear this and think like, “Aww, I want a video!” And that's fine you can wish for that but that's my work with Ace of Wands: is saying yes, I could push, film a video, have it look really—you know do all this stuff. I'm exhausted. I'm still postpartum, it's been a very stressful (Lindsay laughs) like half a year. I have a baby. I'm not—no. It’s just a no. I could do it. Choose not to do it.
That is Ace of Wands energy is tuning in and getting that like, “Wheeew!” energy that's like, “this might be a little much”, right? Respecting that so that we're not blowing our top or getting upset or whatever it is. Aces: we can think of it as like us in the human realm, stretching our hand up and the element in the form of Spirit—like Spirit’s hand (Lindsay laughs), I guess—like coming down to meet us or coming out to meet us, and taking the hand of Spirit. So Aces are really this initiation. It's the casting of a spell, it's New Moon energy, it's setting an intention. It's working with the soul “yes”. It's setting us off up on a journey to learn more about whatever we're doing.
So Ace of Wands is the commitment and the setting of an intention to be in a communication and a co-collaboration with our energetic capacity and our bodies’ Oracle. The Oracle of the body. If we're feeling like the body—even if we don't understand the why of it—is saying no to something, we say no. If the body is saying yes—even if we don't understand how or why or whatever—we say yes. It's really just as simple as that. And also, it's not simple, right?
[0:26:13]
So Ace of Wands, we're working with this energy this week, so use it. Also, a New Moon in Libra on I believe it's Sunday. And like, of course, perfect fucking timing. Use this energy. Be willing, ask for, set intentions, for a different way to utilize your energy. Not everybody here is postpartum and is working with their child at home. And I know that every person listening to this in one way or another is tired, is grappling with these themes, is exhausted, is burned out, is a caregiver—everyone's working with something. There is a big invitation to welcome and invite in more ease.
This Tarot card is helping and anchoring us in this work by asking us 1.) to acknowledge what's here that's not working, that we would really love to change. And to honor the feelings about like, “Oh, it can never change blah blah blah…” Just be with the start: what's not working? And 2.) be willing to—in whatever way it feels right for you to do this around—like go to your body and just say, “How are you? What are you needing?” Don't get caught up in like, “Oh, I can't offer that da da da…” Be willing. Be willing to try, right? And set an intention for a lasting, sacred restructuring of the way we use our energy, the way we use our time.
We're building toward—and it's really peaking in 2023 next year—we're building toward a big time (Lindsay laughs) of clarification around ways in which, the way we've been kind of going about something, we've been working with certain things—them being really untenable. Like Chariot is really the last step and we're in a Chariot year next year, about kind of letting the full shedding process, the exoskeleton, that just does not work anymore, kind of letting that go and really leaping into something new that's much more authentic, but also really new and kind of like woo–oooh, like, “Can I do this? Is this enough?” Like all those all those big feelings that can come up as a result of that.
So yeah, we have a lot of potential this week to work within those themes. And it is a New Moon week; so really powerful to hook into this. Ask for help. It's there. Aces mean like Spirit’s knocking at the door being like, “Hey, if you want, you can take hold of this wand. You can be more present with your current energetic capacity, you could touch in a little bit more, you can invite in a little bit more support.” So be willing to open up to it and see where it takes you. It's a really beautiful way to weave in like New Moon, intention setting, Justice magic, Libra magic, Air goodness, it's like all the things, all the things.
[0:29:35]
So inspired by today's pull for the week ahead, I chose a question from the beautiful, beautiful questions I receive on Ask Lindsay from somebody named Rachel this week. And so I'm going to read Rachel's question and then talk about my thoughts. So Rachel asks,
Firstly, thank you so much for your beautiful medicinal work. It's helped me through more seasons of transition than I can even count.
Thank you so much, Rachel.
My question is how do we reclaim our fire for business, life, creativity, and work when it seems to have gone out? I started a business early this year, and I've been so in love with it. But recently, I've been feeling drained by my clients and by my work in general. I feel like that initial spark of life has been dampened and I don't entirely know why.
I've been touching in with Spirit and I think part of the answer is to restructure my relationship with my work and what I'm asking from it. But the process of restructuring seems so daunting when I'm already feeling burned out. Is there some supportive Tarot for coming home to the sacred fire of our soul work? Thank you so much.
What an amazing question. So, Rachel, I have some personal thoughts and I did some Tarot pulls for you. So I'm going to tell you my thoughts. And I'm going to sort of do like a reading question mark (Lindsay laughs)? I'll just talk about what came up. And then you can work with it if it feels aligned for you, and not if it doesn't.
So my first thoughts are… Well, first, first and foremost, I just really want to bow to what you're going through. I have been here so many times. And it is really discouraging. And really hard. And the paradox of what you're talking about, like “How do I restructure when I'm already like exhausted” is real. And it's just, yeah, it's such a tough place to be in. So I'm just bowing to that with like, all of the compassion that I could ever muster for you. It's a really tough situation to be in. I'm also really excited that you started a business. It's such a huge leap of faith, and I'm proud of you for doing it. So that's first and foremost (Lindsay laughs).
[0:31:56]
This is what sort of immediately came up upon you speaking about this: it does seem like to me, you may benefit from some reflection about… I think my first question is—and I don't know the answer to this only you will know—how are your boundaries with your clients? Like, what is the expectation that y’all have of each other? Is there sort of a clarity for them and for you about how you tend to these clients and the turnaround time that you're expected to have things to them by? I know that we're ideally moving to a place where we're going beyond like the framework of money and an anti-capitalist framework. But, for today (Lindsay laughs), like, you know, money helps us to pay the rent and the bills.
Are you being paid enough? Like, I'm just going to ask you that very bluntly, are you being paid enough? That is, unfortunately, sometimes when we are doing a lot and not being compensated—whether energetically or financially, however—we're in an exchange with the folks that were serving. What you're describing can, doesn't mean it always is, it can be an indicator, something's going on here.
So my the first place I'd like you to just pause with and reflect on and if you have a mentor, a community, whatever it might be, if you're looking for something like that, I cannot, cannot recommend my friend Amy Kuretski’s upcoming offering The Incubator to you enough, I am NOT an affiliate of this offering (Lindsay laughs). But I've worked with Amy, on business coaching myself, and she's just a genius and she is opening up spots for this offering called The Incubator that I think would be really perfect for you, potentially. So you can go to her website, amykuretsky.com. It'll be in the show notes to find out more about it, and to any of you who are seeking sort of a small container for like a newly blossoming business and wanting to connect in community with an amazing space holder—can't recommend Amy enough.
Anyway, back to you. I would say if you can take these questions about boundaries and about charging to a space where you can really be in support with folks who are also kind of working these issues out, I think it could really help. Because those might be at the root of what's going on. And you know, it's, you know, we have to persistently from time to time really ask those questions like “Is the work I'm doing, is the rate I'm charging, is my current system of communication and boundary and energetic capacity kind of matching?” I feel like in my work anyway, it's always changing. And I sort of have to rise to meet to whatever season I’m in. So that may be a part of it for you.
[0:35:20]
But going back to your original question: “restructuring seeming so daunting when you're already feeling burned out and are there supportive Tarot cards for coming home to the sacred fire of our soul work?” Again, beautiful question (Lindsay laughs). The first step is resting. So giving yourself—even if it's literally like two days to be like, the closed sign is up on the proverbial business, rest. You have to.
So you may find that with a few days or a week of really deeply devotional attention to restoring and moving into joy and engaging with things that delight you and comfort you and just make you feel like, cozy and good in your life and that are not about serving and your clients or anything like that. If you can do that, if you have the luxury, the privilege, the ability to do that, I would say give yourself that. I feel like that's step one. Don't try to figure out how to restructure anything just first, rest. And second, ask some of those questions. Is it a boundary thing? Is it a structure thing? Is it—because you may find with a little bit more rest and with your well a little bit fuller, that the shifts are a lot more simple than you think they might be.
Now, in terms of Tarot Anchors that can be useful, I didn't get your consent to like “read” for you. So I'm not this is a reading, and it's also not a reading because I don't have your energetic consent, technically (Lindsay laughs) to do a reading. But you asked me about Tarot Anchors and so I did actually pull on that, and just asked to be given some Tarot Anchors that could be of support in your situation. So I'll share with you what I pulled, and how they might like, just one invitation as to how they might be of use to you and you can again, take it or leave it.
The first is that I actually pulled Page of Wands reversed. So that feels to me, like, I also got Two of Cups. So with those two cards being here tell me, is that there is a message very strongly coming from your body right now that really needs to be given an audience with you. It doesn't mean you're missing it, you might be like (Lindsay laughs), “I know, like I'm burned out, I'm exhausted” whatever.
[0:38:01]
Page of Wands is—when reversed—it can mean that we're kind of like, hop like leapfrogging over the intuition, over the body, over like the capacity that we currently have to do XYZ. And Page of Wands really says if you can take a moment and tune in about what you're really wanting and needing, it's going to be way easier in the long run, to move in the directions that you'd like to move—kind of like all systems of who we are: body and energy and you know, all of the good stuff that makes us us—it's kind of bringing it all together and getting it all on the same page. So when reversed, it just typically means like it's not a huge thing, it just means like there may be an adjustment there. There may have been like a moment where there was a message and we don't always immediately like realize that those messages are coming through. So just giving that a moment.
Two of Cups like, really, again similar idea. So like, deeply embracing the self and taking our own hand and saying “Okay, I want to be with you, I want to love you, we're going to move through this.” So I would say this is a really strong Tarot Anchor for the work you're going through because to kind of come home to the sacred fire of the soul work, it requires tending of that flame with love and respect. So what makes you delighted? What turns you on? What makes you feel happy? What makes you feel like a person?
Maybe this is, like I do feel like sometimes with my work—I love my work—but there are times where I'm like, whoa, you know (Lindsay laughs) because sometimes my work can be really demanding. And I can like forget, like, “Oh yeah, I'm a person that like loves this.” Because I don't know, it's, it's hard, I think with work like this to like, remember (Lindsay laughs), you know, “I'm a person.”
So one of them is still to love and to tend to ourselves and to radically choose ourselves. So Two of Cups is a really valuable Anchor, I think Page of Wands is just a good—it's like just a healthy dose of what we need regularly, which is like taking moments very, very regularly to tune into that energetic center and be like, “Is this person a yes? Is this pursuit a yes? Is this price a yes? Is this offering a yes?” Like just checking in. You know, is it a yes right now? Is it a yes, for later? All that stuff.

Another one I pulled for you is Page of Pentacles. So beyond giving yourself lots of time for rest, nurturing yourself, tending to yourself, tuning in more deeply with the body, and with sort of the pilot light of the body—reaching out for more spiritual support. Page of Pentacles is key for this and it is a huge part of sort of reclaiming that sacred soul fire. We don't know everything. I cannot possibly—and I do it all the time. Like, I'm not going to tell you I never forget to tune in with Spirit. I do, all the time (Lindsay laughs). And I think like, “Oh, yeah, I'm gonna do this.” And then I find myself kind of spiraling in something and I'm like, “Why is this so hard?” or “I don't really know what to say.” And then I tune in and kind of like, get the train back on the tracks, or I realize like, “Whoa, this was not really the most supportive thing I could have done. Alright, I gotta kind of change gears or pull through with it,” whatever.
Page of Pentacles is kind of the commitment to working with the willingness to let Spirit be a part of helping us. Like to call in our ancestors, and our angels, and our Guides, or whomever you work with, to help. So you don't feel like you have to do it all alone. So you're not pulling from your personal well, you're pulling from that like “Spirit well”, where there is energy, there is you know? And if we know, “You know, I can't do more than x amount of this, otherwise, I do just get exhausted, there's no amount of replacement that I can do to like—I have a capacity and it's this.” You know, being honest with ourselves about that, I think is really, really powerful. And that is what Page of Pentacles can help with, is just drawing in more of that willingness to tune in—not just with the body, but what's outside of the body that serves and supports us.
And then finally, Magician reversed. So again, this kind of has to do with checking in about timing, about underutilization or overutilization of energy, over-promising—again, this isn't me, telling you that this is what's happening. These are just good measures for anyone going through something like this. So in review, and in your answer, supportive Tarot cards for coming home to, as you put it, “the sacred fire of our soul work”: Page of Wands, cultivating a lifelong perpetual commitment to working and serving with the energetic capacity of the body, rather than against it, or pushing it away, or, you know, whatever it is. Working with the body with that pilot light so that we're not flaming out, burning out, whatever.
Two of Cups: not pushing, not forcing, being tender, embracing those parts of ourselves. Not trying to be perfect, not doing like a persona, loving ourselves enough to charge what is a living wage for us, resting when it's appropriate, not apologizing or feeling guilty. Having the permission to change our minds, like having this love and relationship with self be at the bedrock of what we're doing. Page of Pentacles: knowing that you don't have to do this alone, that you can call in spiritual support. That they will help, that's what they're here for; to say “Is it in highest and best to do X right now? To work with this person right now?” If you get a no, sometimes it can bring up really big feelings. I would say ten times out of ten, when I'm like, “Spirit, you don't know shit, whatever.” (Lindsay laughs) Like, it's harder for me. And again, you know, sometimes we have to do what we have to do, but they really do know and it can really be quite helpful. So that's kind of the third thing.

And then Magician reversed. It's Mercury, right? Ruled by Mercury. So taking a minute, when we feel like that kind of soul fire has gone out, to kind of click into our own little Mercury Retrograde and saying, “Alright, based on the Mercury aspects, the way that we put forward our labor, the way we serve, the way we communicate the way we create a channel—what needs to be realigned are sort of cleaned up, so to speak, so that I can move forward with less effortful pushing or pulling? Like, how can there be a cleaner, clearer, less intense drag on the tracks so that things can (Lindsay gives a short whistle) just go along really swimmingly?
I think that's it. I really, really appreciate your question. And I think hopefully this has helped more than just you. I know it's helped me to read about it and like, “Whoa, yeah.” (Lindsay laughs) So thank you so much for asking it. And thank you all for listening.
